The Quest For The Perfect Adventure Riding Photo—How many of us have dreamed of throwing the job in, packing only the essentials on the back of the ADV bike and heading somewhere with no particular place to go or time to get there?
The Quest For The Perfect Adventure Riding Photo
That’s exactly what Tim Burke did recently, and this magnificent film documents not just that life-changing decision but what potential joys and pitfalls await those who heed this very personal call.
Tim Burke is a roaming photographer, a man gaining a reputation as one of the foremost ADV travel photographers as he pilots his BMW R 1200 GS through some of the most stunning landscapes this planet has to offer. In this inspiring film, Tim meets up with the Chapin Films crew in Guatemala and convinces them to help him drag the big GS to the top of Volcán Acatenango for one of the most spectacular ADV shots you’ll ever see.
It’s a film shared on the Upshift Online YouTube page, a brilliant ADV publication headed by former Cycle News contributor and world-famous supercross, motocross and off-road photographer, Simon Cudby.
If you’ve ever thought about taking that all-important leap of faith and traveling the world on your bike, this film might just be the catalyst you need to make it happen.
