Hunter Lawrence Prepares For 2019 Supercross Season
Cycle News Staff | December 14, 2018
The GEICO Honda supercross team is returning in 2019 looking much like it did in 2018, but with one exception. Cameron McAdoo is no longer with the team, his spot now filled by Australian rising star Hunter Lawrence.
Lawrence has spent the last few years chasing the MX2 crown in the FIM Motocross World Championship Series and has been a top rider in the class. He actually officially signed with the GEICO team at the end of 2017, but spent 2018 riding a Team Honda 114 Motorsports CRF250F on the GP circuit. He missed a few rounds due to injury but finished out the year inside the top 10 in the MX2 Championship, with three second-place moto finishes along the way.
The GEICO Honda team released this video focusing on his preparations for the upcoming AMA Supercross and MX season.
