2019 Ducati Monster 797 and 797+ First Look

2019 Ducati Monster 797 and 797+ First Look—Ducati’s baby Monster has come in for a slight facelift for the 2019 model year. The Monster 797 and 797+ are the entry-level machines in the Monster category and are both powered by the same 803cc air-cooled L-twin that pumps out a claimed 75 hp at 8250 rpm, wrapped in the traditional Monster tubular steel trellis chassis.
As such, the frame, engine, Sachs suspension and Brembo brakes are not changed from what you could buy in 2018, but there’s new colors for the 797+ in the Star White Silk with a black frame and black wheels and Ducati Red with a red frame and black wheels color schemes.
The 797+ also gets a small windscreen and passenger seat cover in the same color as the fuel tank and front mudguard—although both of these can be retrofitted to the standard 797 as aftermarket accessories.
