Prison Break Scheduled for October 13-14 at the Gila County Fairgrounds
This is a press release from Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association…
Phoenix, AZ (October 4, 2018) – Prison Break, round two of the MotoCity Arizona Motorcycle Riders Association (AMRA) big-bike race series and round one of the Fly Racing AMRA minibike race series, will take place October 13-14 at the Gila County Fairgrounds in Globe, Arizona. The event is part of a 14-race series sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association. Enticing the fastest riders in the southwest region, Prison Break will follow a hare scramble race format.
Race coordinator and Rockstars MC president says, “Sunday racers start the race with a ‘banner drop.’ All AA on 1 line, All A’s on 1 line, and all B’s on 1 line. With all the rain from Rosa, racers can expect a great course. The Rockstars MC has spent many work days clearing rocks, cutting grass and grooming trails. Most of the course is the same as years past with subtle changes to make it interesting for the racers. This year The Rockstars MC has incorporated most of the horse track for the first time. So be prepared for some high speed, throwing it sideways like a real flat tracker through the corners of the 1-mile horse track. It’s going to be a great time. Can’t wait to see everyone in Globe for this awesome event.”
