Kristen Beat and Terry Boyd to call the action
This is a press release from EnduroCross…
Irvine, CA (August 8, 2018) – The 2018 AMA EnduroCross series will launch into action in Prescott Valley, Arizona on Saturday, August 25th. The EnduroCross team is thrilled to have two new announcers calling the action for 2018. That new team will consist of Kristen Beat and Terry Boyd, both very experienced announcers with a passion for motorsports.
Beat has been an announcer for ArenaCross, NASCAR and done sideline reporting for college sports. “I grew up around motorsports, so I naturally gravitate towards racing and my experience covering traditional sports has allowed me to examine racing with more dimension and construct my storytelling and questions to reflect the dynamic strategy that EnduroCross and other motorsports merit,” said Beat.

Boyd was the TV announcer for EnduroCross for five seasons and the voice of Supercross for fifteen years. He currently hosts a morning radio show on KGON in Portland, Oregon. “I am excited about being back at the EnduroCross races,” said Boyd. “The racing is exciting, and the riders are amazingly talented, so I look forward to calling the action in 2018.”
In addition to the Super EnduroCross (Pro) class, the EnduroCross series will again include Open Amateur, Vet 35+, TrialsCross and Women’s classes. The main events for these classes compete in front of packed stadiums during the night show, providing exciting action for the fans and an opportunity for everybody to compete. All the support classes include their own championship points series, as well. Riders can sign up here: https://secure.tracksideprereg.com/endurocross/
