The team’s arrival in the Grand Prix paddock will coincide with the arrival of Triumph’s Street Triple 765 three-cylinder motor as the control engine supplier for the class. Triumph will replace Honda and their four-cylinder CBR600RR motor, who have controlled the Moto2 grid since 2010.
“I am really proud to see the dream to rejoin the motorcycling World Championship come true,” said MV Agusta CEO, Giovanni Castiglioni. “I would like to thank all our engineers, technicians and designers, plus the staff of the Forward Racing Team for having carried out this project in such a short amount of time. Of course, there is still a lot of work ahead of us, but step by step we will improve our competitiveness.”
No riders have been confirmed yet for MV Agusta’s return, but for now, you’ll have to be satisfied with these photos of this beautiful machine.
