Press Release | July 14, 2018
ProTaper has three styles of handlebar choices in its EVO collection: one for motocross-style riding, one for dirt tracking and one for adventure riding.
The EVO Handlebar is ProTaper’s flagship unbraced handlebar. Oversized-diameter handlebars without crossbars were invented and patented by ProTaper in 1991. This design yields increased flex and impact absorption over conventional handlebars, offering the rider improved comfort and reduced fatigue. Using a premium 7000-series aluminum-alloy construction and computer-profiled 4mm-thick wall design, ProTaper says its EVO Handlebar is up to 25-percent lighter and 45-percent stronger than competing handlebars.
These are the handlebars of choice for top MX professional riders and race teams like Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing, GEICO Honda, and Autotrader.com/Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing (JGR).
