Chris Fillmore’s Record-Breaking Pikes Peak Run—2017 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb Champion Chris Fillmore switched to the Middleweight category for the 2018 event and used all his experience and guile to smash the class record and finish a remarkable third overall.

The Michigan-born rider used KTM’s new 790 Duke to great effect, claiming the class win and setting the bar at 10:04.038, some 30 seconds faster than the previous record set by Codie Vahsholtz in 2017.
