Stewart filled in for the injured Justin Bogle at the Houston and Anaheim II rounds of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series and, even though Bogle is returning to action this weekend in Glendale, Arizona, Stewart will continue on with the team this weekend. So, the Suzuki team will field three riders: Weston Peick, Bogle and Stewart.
“I couldn’t be happier to be with the Autotrader/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing Team for another weekend!” Stewart said. “It’s been great working with these guys the past couple weeks. Getting the opportunity to be with them for another race is awesome!”
Team manager Jeremy Albrecht says Stewart has been a well-fitting addition to the team. “It has been great having Malcolm on the team,” Albrecht said. “He gets along well with everyone, and he has a very positive attitude. We’re happy to say that he will be on the track this weekend and racing with us.”

After having not raced for eight months, the team was impressed with Stewart’s 11-place finishes at Houston and Anaheim.
As far as Stewart’s future with the team? It sounds like there is a chance he could be with them–or at least on a Suzuki–for even longer.
“We are currently exploring to see what our options are for Malcolm to be on the factory Suzuki RM-Z450 for more races,” said Albrecht.
