Costa Mesa, CA (November 8, 2017) – MotoAmerica would like to congratulate Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca today as the iconic racetrack in the hills of the Monterey Peninsula in Northern California celebrates its 60th anniversary.

“All of us at MotoAmerica want to join the staff of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in the celebration of its 60th anniversary,” said MotoAmerica President Wayne Rainey. “Laguna Seca signed up with us first when we started MotoAmerica and the relationship we have with them is strong and it continues to flourish as we go forward. On a personal note, I’ve had a lot of my racing success at that racetrack from AMA Superbikes to 500cc Grand Prix bikes to helping get MotoGP at the track, and now having MotoAmerica there on a yearly basis. It goes without saying that Laguna Seca has been very significant in my career.”
The 2018 MotoAmerica Series will return to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for round five of its 10-round championship, June 22-24.
