2017 Everett EnduroCross Race Results – Cody Webb claimed his third consecutive win of the 2017 AMA EnduroCross Championship to extend his lead in the points race to 10 over defending champ Colton Haaker with three rounds left to go.
Webb, on the Team FMF/KTM, took the lead at Everett, Washington’s XFINITY Arena, on the third lap and never looked back, while title rival Haaker, on the Rockstar Energy Husqvarna, struggled early on after crashing on the first lap. Webb ended up taking the win over 20-year-old Trystan Hart (SRT/Husqvarna), while Haacker fought his way into third by the finish.
Husqvarna rider Cory Graffunder was fourth, while KTM rider Ty Tremaine rounded out the top five.
Hart is third in the championship with 78 points, Kyle Redmond is fourth with 69 and Tremaine is fifth with 66 points.
Canada’s Shelby Turner took her third win of the season in the Women’s class. This was perhaps her easiest win yet as she led every lap despite one tip over in one of the tricky rock turns. Beta’s Morgan Tanke came out on top of a great battle with KTM’s Kacy Martinez to take second. Martinez had crashed on lap one and recovered to nearly take second.
Destry Abbott took another Vet class win on his Purvines, DA8 Yamaha. Canadian Stephen Foord finished second on his Beta and local rider Bill Baldwin rounded out the podium on his KTM.
