2017 EnduroCross Scottsdale Results – Cody Webb claimed his fourth straight AMA EnduroCross victory with another solid performance at The WestWorld in Scottsdale, Arizona, October 28. Webb had it a little easier than usual with defending champ Colton Haaker sitting out the race with an injury, but other riders stepped it up and kept the FMF KTM Team rider on his toes all night.

In the main event, Webb jumped into the lead and ran off with the win, but he could never completely relax, as Canadian Trystan Hart stayed right with him for much of the race before dropping off the lead pace later in the race. Webb went on to take the win with Hart, on the SRT Husqvarna, taking second and Ty Tremaine third.
“In the main, I really wanted to sprint right away but then Hart kept holding the gap the same, so everyone is stepping it up,” said Webb.
“I didn’t get the greatest start but tucked into inside in the first two turns and came out with second,” said Hart. “I could see that Ty was staying close the whole way and I’m just happy that I was able to get back up here for second again.”
Webb is firmly atop of the leaderboard and will be hard to knock off with Haaker’s future in doubt. The number-one plate holder, Haaker, is on the mend after having surgery on his elbow that he injured earlier in the season. He will most likely also sit out the next round in Boise, Idaho, and possibly the final round in Ontario, California, as well.
Hart actually moved in front of Haaker in the champion; Webb leads Hart by 28 points now, with Haaker holding down third.
