Cycle News Staff | June 18, 2017
R2 Helmet launch accompanied by R2ME2 Challenge, in which there are five dream motorcycle tours to be won.
Schuberth says its new R2 is suitable for every head and every street bike, whether you ride a naked bike, roadster or sports tourer. It is a classic full-face helmet sporting a modern design and featuring the latest Schuberth technology. The upper edge remains outside the field of vision when in a tucked riding position.
The R2 comes pre-equipped for Bluetooth and radio communication, and features an integrated antenna, two pre-installed loudspeakers, a boomless mic and slot for the optional SC1 communication system, developed in collaboration with SENA.
The R2 was developed in Schuberth’s Air and Acoustics Lab for improved aerodynamics, and includes an anti-fog visor.
The R2 is available now in the sizes XS (53) to XXL (63). Color choices include the classic solids: black, white and Anthracite ($479), and graphics include Nemesis, Enforcer and Renegade ($569).
Schuberth is accompanying the launch with the R2ME2 Challenge in which there are five dream motorcycle tours and five Schuberth R2 helmets to be won. The online competition is running to the end of July 2017.
