Jeremy Martin Out For Seattle SX: GEICO Honda’s Jeremy Martin posted on his Instagram page today that he will be added to the quickly growing group of racers who are out for this weekend’s Seattle Supercross, joining fellow 250cc West racer Austin Forkner who was also sidelined prior to this weekend’s race.

Martin has had an unlucky go of it in the 250cc West so far this year, but took an opportunity during the 250cc West’s hiatus to race Ken Roczen’s vacated factory Honda CRF450R at the Daytona Supercross, where he led a huge chunk of the race and ultimately finished an impressive second in his 450cc professional debut. There were high hopes surrounding Martin leading up the Seattle, but he says a practice crash while riding motocross is what put him out. From his Instagram:

Both Martin and Forkner are hoping to return at the Salt Lake City round, which occurs two weeks after Seattle, because of the Easter-weekend break.
