Forkner Returns From Injury In SLC: Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Justin Hill and Austin Forkner will race inside Rice-Eccles Stadium for the first time as the series makes its return to Utah’s state capital following a four-year hiatus. Hill is looking to collect another win, while Forkner returns to race action after sitting out one round with an injury.

Hill enters the penultimate Western Regional 250SX Class race with an 18-point lead. While the game plan is always to ride smart with the championship as the ultimate goal, Hill is hungry to add to his win total with two races remaining. He’s only finished outside the top-two one time (Anaheim 1) and looks to keep his streak of great finishes going in Salt Lake City.
“With rain in the forecast all week, we’ll see what kind of conditions we end up with,” said Hill. “But if we survived the track in Seattle, which was crazy, we can make smart choices in Salt Lake and hopefully be sitting well going into Las Vegas.”

After sitting out the round in Seattle because of a practice injury, Forkner is back behind the gate this weekend to try and go after his first-career win. Before the long break, Forkner collected two consecutive podium finishes and is hopeful to be standing back up there this weekend.
“I was so bummed to have waited all break and then right before Seattle had a little get off that kept me off the bike,” said Forkner. “I’m really happy to be back and would love to be on the podium this weekend.”
