Video: Bimota EB1 Electric Concept Bike

Electric rider rides Bimota at Imola in virtual reality. What, what?
Four design students from ISD Valenciennes in France have come up with what they believe an electric Bimota could look like if the bespoke Italian company were to build such a bike.
Named the EB1, this very computer-generated video shows an electric version of what looks like the company’s gorgeous Tesi 3D, but sans Ducati motor, instead fitted with a two-speed electric powerplant, one that has easy removability of the battery packs, with the bodywork designed for maximum airflow to keep everything cool.
That all sounds great but when you see the rider doing his thing on the motorcycle held on hydraulic stands to mimic the curves and flows of a racetrack, that’s where it starts to lose us. Bring the bike on, but let us ride it in the real world!
