2017 Dirt Diggers Big 6 GP Results – Zach Bell, who says he’s focusing on off-road racing now, showed that he might have a promising career in off-road after topping the AMA District 37/Maxxis Big 6 Grand Prix at Honolulu Raceway in Taft, California, February 4-5. Filling in for the injured Colton Udall on the Ox Motorsports Honda Team at the Dirt Diggers GP, he took the lead in the premier WCGP class on the second lap and never looked back.

Blayne Thompson, however, stayed close the whole way and crossed the finish line in second place but was later penalized two minutes for not stopping at the pit exit. As a result, he dropped back to sixth place.
Robby Bell (Rocky Mountain ATV-MC/Precision Concepts Kawasaki) ended up taking second place, followed by Michael de Fente (Thousand Oaks Powersports Yamaha).
Robby Bell’s teammate Justin Seeds was fourth, while Mark Samuels (Ox Motorsports Honda) rounded out the top five.
Trevor Stewart (Johnny Campbell Racing Honda), come-from-behind WCGP Pro II winner Beau Baron, WCGP Open Expert winner Dante Oliviera and WCGP Open Expert runner-up Logan Chambers completed the top 10.
Brandy Richards repeated as WCGP Women Pro winner, and Gordon Ward took wins in the Magnum, Veteran and Senior classes.
