2017 Anaheim I Supercross Qualifying Results Cycle News Staff | January 7, 2017 2017 Anaheim I Supercross Qualifying Results: Qualifying is wrapped up at the opening round of the 2017 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series, and Marvin Musquin and Jeremy Marten are the riders to beat in tonight’s program. Marvin Musquin set the bar in the 450SX class. Photography by Kit Palmer Martin turned it around the second time out and topped the 250SX West field overall. He was the only rider to crack the 1m:2s mark in the 250SX class with a 1:02.925. Next best was Justin Hill with a 1:03.242. Mitch Oldenburg is third quickest followed by the top rider in the first session, Aaron Plessinger. Shane Mcelrath rounded out the top five overall. In the 450SX class, Marvin Musquin reeled off the quickest lap with a 1:02.011. Eli Tomac is right behind him with a 1:02.100. Cole Seely is third quickest, followed by Jason Anderson. Ken Roczen slipped back to fifth after leading the way in the first session. 2017 Anaheim I Supercross Qualifying Results Jeremy Martin is your top 250SX West qualifier. Eli Tomac is showing good speed. He’s number two after 450SX qualifying. Coley Seely is going sneaky fast. Blake Baggett is looking good on the KTM. He’s sixth quickest in 450SX qualifying.
