2017 Honda CRF250L Rally Revealed: Honda revealed a new member to its on/off-road family: the 2017 CRF250L Rally ($5899). The motorcycle is inspired by the company’s CRF450 Rally bike raced in Dakar by its Team HRC riders.

The new CRF250L Rally is based on the CRF250L ($5099) dual sport, which has also been updated for 2017. The Rally features a rally-type “floating” screen, fairing and radiator shrouds, with a further mix of motocross styling elsewhere on the bike. Both the asymmetric headlight and turn signals are LED. A new digital dash includes a fuel gauge and tachometer. There is also a larger floating front disc brake, plus ABS that can be switched off for the rear brake.
Both the standard and Rally models share a larger 38mm throttle body (up 2mm from 2016), a revised airbox, reshaped air boot, new muffler design and a larger-diameter exhaust head pipe for improved response and power in the low and mid rpm ranges. ECU has been updated, as well.
Both bikes will be available in March.
