First Look: 2017 KTM SX Motocross Bikes

Kit Palmer | May 17, 2016

WP’s new AER 48 air forks are fitted on the 2017 KTM SX (two-stroke) and SX-F (four-stroke) motocross models, and the four-strokes get traction control.

But probably the biggest news is that the 250 SX gets and all-new engine and chassis to go along with the new AER forks. There’s a new cylinder, DDS clutch, 38mm Mikuni carburetor, exhaust pipe and updated five-speed transmission. A lot of focus went into reducing engine vibration, as well.

The engine also hangs in an all-new frame.

Listed below are what’s new with all of the SX models.
