San Diego, CA (May 13, 2016) – The AMA Supermoto National Championship Series is pleased to announce a double purse for the second round of the championship at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, in Loudon, New Hampshire, June 17-18, in conjunction with the 93rd annual Loudon Classic.
“We are committed to rebuilding the AMA Supermoto National Championship Series back to where it belongs and part of that vision is making it a rider’s championship,” said USA Pro Supermoto Chief Executive Officer Joe Agley. “So we are happy to announce a double purse for the second round of the championship at New Hampshire Motor Speedway for the 2016 Loudon Classic.”
Rich in history, the Loudon Classic is the longest running motorcycle race in America and has been held on site since long before the speedway was built, when it was simply a road course known as Bryar Motorsports Park. In addition to the AMA Supermoto National Championship Series, the race weekend will feature different series and types of motorcycles, including the Granite State Legends Cars, which are powered by motorcycle engines. The Loudon Classic’s feature event will be run by the Loudon Road Race Series in the form of Middleweight Grand Prix on Saturday afternoon.
