BTO Sports KTM’s Davi Millsaps revealed on his Twitter account that he suffered broken ribs and a partially collapsed lung when he fell with about a lap left at the Daytona Supercross.
Millspas tweeted: “Just a little update. I ended up breaking 3 ribs and severely bruised and partially collapsed my lung and [there] was some bleeding around it but other than that I’m great.”
Millsaps was having a strong ride and was holding down seventh place when he went down.
It’s been a tough season so far for the BTO team. They started off the year without Andrew Short who was recovering from a pre-season injury. When he returned he suffered a concussion that has him sidelined again. Plus, the team had much of its equipment stolen last month.
