PIAA makes light kits for all types of motorsports, including the Baja 1000, 24 Hours of Daytona, Le Mans, Dakar, MotoGP, Formula One and more. PIAA’s LP270 LED Driving light kits are one of the many light kits for motorcycles. They offer the beam control of a halogen light with the low-power consumption and durability of an LED light. LED’s offer several advantages over their halogen counterparts, including very low power consumption, compact size and durability. Unlike most LED lights currently on the market that position the LED straight forward, the LP270 Lights aim the LED’s at the reflector. This orientation of the light source is designed to improve beam control and output compared to a conventional layout. The kit uses two 10W LEDs that produce a white beam with a color temperature of 6000 Kelvin. The computer-designed multi-surface reflector is added to provide a pattern in a lightweight, durable light that requires a fraction of the power used by a comparable halogen light. The kits come with the supplied wire harnesses and switches. A variety of mounting and beam options and are also available.
