MotoGP: Lorenzo Fires First In Qatar

Jorge Lorenzo ended the first day of practice for the Qatar MotoGP fastest, finishing clear of Movistar Yamaha teammate and 2015 title runner-up, Valentino Rossi.

Third went to the factory Ducati of Andrea Iannone and fourth to Hector Barbera on the Avinita Ducati. The Repsol Hondas of Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez languished down in seventh and eighth places, respectively.
