Throwback Thursday: Larry Huffman’s Crazy Capture

We’re not quite sure what’s going on here, but Cycle News staff photographer Dale Brown perfectly captured the wild and whacky spirit of the annual Superbowl of Motocross in the Los Angeles Coliseum. This photo shows the original Voice of Supercross Larry Huffman cutting up behind a singer mid-tune. We can only hope she wasn’t singing the national anthem. On the track Team Suzuki’s Mark Barnett won the race in LA that night and clinched the 1981 AMA Supercross Championship.
