Alexander Smith is already half way through the 2016 Dakar Rally and so far achieving his goal of having a safe and problem free ride. The Road to Dakar chronicles Smith’s quest to compete in the toughest, longest motorcycle rally in the world.
The son of the legendary Malcolm Smith, Alexander proves to be a chip off the old block. Nearly 50 years after Malcolm blazed a trail by winning the Baja 1000 on a Husqvarna, Alexander conquered the Baja 1000 by winning the solo class. And now, he is tackling the Dakar on a Husky.
