A group of companies have shown their support of the inaugural Superprestigio of the Americas by offering a packed gift bag of goodies to the riders invited to this year’s race being called the SOTA Swag Bag.
The idea was hatched after a conversation between Steve McLaughlin, Chris Carr and Don Emde at the MotoGP event in Indianapolis. Emde, via his relationships with companies advertising in Parts Magazine and other industry contacts, came up with a group of companies eager to participate in welcoming the SOTA riders to the 2015 event in Las Vegas.
In the SOTA Swag Bag riders will receive to a hardbound copy of Emde’s Daytona 200 book, an American Kargo (the bag), Mark Niemi Fine Art (moto art on a cup), Motion Pro (opener), Memphis Shades (cleaning kit), Metro Racing (Leatherman), NGK Spark Plugs (glasses and flashlight), Mark Kully (moto art cards), Saddlemen (a gift certificate for a seat cover), Evans Cooling (a special coolant measuring cup) and a commemorative Superprestigio of the Americas program.
“It’s been a lot of fun putting together this gift bag for the riders,” Emde said. “It’s just a little something to thank them for participating and for being a part of what could be a history-making event. I thank all the companies who donated items for the gift bag and hopefully we can make this an annual tradition for the Superprestigio of the Americas.”
Event promoter SMI would like to thank Emde and all the companies involved in assembling this unique keepsake for the riders who participated in the inaugural Superprestigio of the Americas.
