Night one winner Weston Peick followed up his performance with a runner-up finish on Sunday to claim the overall at the Paris Lille Supercross. Countryman Christophe Pourcel topped the action on Sunday in front of his home crowd, but his combined 3-1 score couldn’t top Peick for the grand prize. Pourcel finished second overall followed by Cooper Webb who claimed third on the weekend. Valentin Guillod and Fabien Izoird rounded out the top-five overall.
Things didn’t go quite as smoothly for Peick on the second night of the Lille Supercross. The Yamaha rider was forced to qualify out of the LCQ on Sunday after crashing in his heat race. His gate pick for the main event suffered as a result, but the American quickly made his way into second place behind Pourcel, who led the entire race.
Cooper Webb and Malcolm Stewart were contenders for the Sunday night podium, but both had crashes in the main event. Stewart once again finished outside the top-10. Webb rallied back to take fifth—combined with his Saturday night finish, good enough for an overall podium.
