FIRST LOOK: 2016 Triumph Explorer Range
Rennie Scaysbrook | November 17, 2015
With the Bonneville and Speed Triple models already out there, all that was left for Triumph in Milan was the updated Tiger Explorer. Triumph’s large capacity adventure bike technically has six new versions for 2016, but the reality is they are basically spec upgrades.
The XR is the firm’s term for a more road orientated Tiger while XC (above) signifies a more off-road bias. All the Explorers gain exhaust modifications and the basic bikes get fully adjustable WP suspension while the XCx, XCa, XRx and XRt add gyroscopic traction control and ABS to the mix as well as hill start assist and Triumph’s semi-active suspension.
