New Smyrna Beach, FL (November 16, 2015) – The classes have been confirmed for the first-ever AMA JuniorMotoX, a premium indoor amateur motocross event to be held near Oklahoma City inside the Lazy E Arena. The event will start on Thursday May 12, 2016 and wrap up with the main events on Saturday afternoon/evening, May 14, 2016. The classes will be very consistent with the annual Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Motocross Championship but will be limited to 250cc and under motorcycles and riders that are 18 and under.

Age eligibility based on age on May 12, 2016 (The first day of the event). Proof of age required at sign up. A current AMA membership card will be required at sign up for all participants.
The event will bring amateur racing to a new level with a Supercross-style course that is nearly 2000-feet long featuring some of the best dirt on earth. Jerry Masterpool will provide input on track design, which will include a separate lane featuring more challenging obstacles for the more experienced riders/classes.
Several past and current Motocross and Supercross champions and riders will be on site to provide coaching and education sessions for the participants.
