2015 Evel Knievel Days Returns Bigger Than Ever
Press Release | July 7, 2015
This is a press release from Evel Knievel Days…
The 14th Annual Evel Knievel Days returns with more excitement, more races, more prize money, more world-record attempts, and more all-around fun.
55,000 people are expected to descend on the hometown of Evel Knievel, the Godfather of Extreme Sports.
Evel Knievel Days is an annual non-profit event held every summer, and this year’s event will take place from July 23rd to July 25th. Highlights will include Robbie Knievel making the second highest jump of his career over a local Butte building, Gregg Godfrey attempting a world-record jump in a semi (over another semi!), and Bryan Spangler attempting the farthest backwards car jump. Purse races will include the 1st Annual Evel Kross Enduro Race, the Evel Urban Downhill Mountain Bike Race and Downhill Skateboard Competition. There will also be showcases for FMX, BMX and Wakeboarding, and of course, the ever-popular Mega Ramp.
The event is family friendly and completely free, hosted by the Evel Knievel Days nonprofit organization and staffed entirely by volunteers.
