2015 Yamaha YZ250F and YZ450F Motocrossers: FIRST LOOK
Cycle News Staff | June 5, 2014
The blue YZ450F (shown) and YZ250F now have black rims.
For the model year 2015, Yamaha’s YZ250F and YZ450F four-strokes receive few changes, mostly cosmetic. Like the previous white versions of the YZ-Fs last year, the blue YZ-Fs now feature black wheels and gold chains, and both white and blue models get new graphics. (Once again, the YZ-Fs will be available in two color options: blue w/white and white w/red).

All YZ-Fs also have new quarter-turn fasteners on the airbox and updated fork settings. They are also all fitted with Dunlop’s latest MX52 tires.

The YZ450F also has a new motor mount shape and material.
After getting a total overhaul in 2014, the 2015 YZ250F is essentially the same bike as before, except for the aforementioned air box fasteners and updated fork settings.
Both bikes will be available in June.
