East Rutherford, New Jersey (April 26, 2014) – For the upcoming outdoor series, RCH/Soaring Eagles Suzuki will have Ivan Tedesco filling in for the injured Broc Tickle, according to team co-owner Ricky Carmichael. Tedesco will also be doing most of the testing for the team, and move into that role full time once Tickle returns from injury.
“I have a long history with Ivan, we were teammates at Suzuki, and with his testing knowledge and the things he can do to help make the bike better and better… that makes him a perfect fit for the team, so we signed him a couple of weeks ago to help out,” said Carmichael.
Tedesco has been testing with the team for the last few weeks, getting the bike ready for the outdoor series.
RCH/Soaring Eagle also picked up Weston Peick a few weeks ago, to race the outdoor series for the team.
“It’s going to be an exciting outdoor series,” added Carmichael. “With Weston and Ivan teaming up, we should be competitive from the get-go, and then hopefully Broc can get back in the game midway into the season.”
Carmichael also gave an update on Tickle, saying he is doing well. “As far as when he’ll be back, I think it’s going to be a little bit of time,” said Carmichael. “He’s still got some hardware in his back, but he’s getting around pretty good now.”
