Supercross: Eli Tomac A Question Mark For Toronto

The much-anticipated 450 debut of Eli Tomac has been hampered by injuries, which have limited the GEICO Honda rider to five main event starts in the first 11 races of the year. He has shown flashes of brilliance, racing to a runner-up result in Indianapolis, but he re-aggravated his left shoulder in Daytona and remains a question mark for this weekend’s race in Toronto.
“We’re taking it day by day,” said John Tomac, Eli’s father. “We’re in California training and doing all we can to get Eli back on the track. We’ll probably make the call about this weekend on Thursday. We’ll just have to see how the next few days go.”
