Thursday’s IOMTT Practice Rained Out

Rain, rain go away is likely the song being sung tonight in the pubs and eateries at the Isle of Man as inclement weather forced the cancellation of today’s practice sessions at the TT course.
Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson pushed back the original start time a bit to see if the rain would stop, but after a couple of course inspection laps with the rider liaison officers, the decision was made to cancel the session due to the wet roads.
Fortunately, the forecast for the rest of the week promises some sunshine so riders should get some good dry track time before Saturday’s first race.
