Bike Week Radio Show, a weekly source for motorcycling news broadcast on San Diego’s Sports Radio Leader XX1090 AM and at www.bikeweekradioshow.com, will be on location at the Red Rock Casino, Resort & Spa during the November 16-17 AMA Legends Weekend in Las Vegas, Nev.

The following day, Bike Week Radio Show will broadcast live from Las Vegas during the regular weekly timeslot – Sunday 9 to 10 a.m. (PST) – dedicating the show to the AMA Legends Weekend.
“We’re really excited to take Bike Week Radio Show on the road,” said show host Broc Glover. “The AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame weekend in Las Vegas is the place to be. It’s always a fun, star-studded weekend and we’re really looking forward to sharing it with our listeners.”
Bike Week Radio Show, which is also a Media Sponsor of the AMA Legends Weekend, features hosts Broc Glover, who is a former AMA National Motocross champion and an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer, Cycle News Editor Paul Carruthers and full-time sports talk show host Bobby Wooldridge. It covers all things two-wheels, from dirt to street and everything in between.
“Broc and Bobby produce a phenomenal show, and we’re excited that they are part of the program,” said Jeffrey V. Heininger, chairman of the American Motorcycle Heritage Foundation, which oversees the Hall of Fame. “This will be a unique opportunity for Concours participants, Hall of Famers and fans to interact with some of today’s most-engaging motorcycle media personalities.”
AMA Legends Weekend kicks off on Friday, November 16, with the 2012 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by KTM. The ceremony will officially welcome the class of 2012 to the Hall of Fame. It includes the late Rod Bush, KTM North America president and industry visionary; world championship road racing tuner Nobby Clark; off-road racing champion Ty Davis; 1975 AMA Supercross Champion Jimmy Ellis; pioneering female motocrosser Sue Fish; world-class bike restorer Brian Slark; and the late iconic race starter Al Wilcox.
In addition, two existing members of the Hall of Fame will be honored as Hall of Fame Legends at the event: 1998 inductees Malcolm Smith, a pioneer in off-road motorcycling, and Mert Lawwill, the 1969 AMA Grand National Champion. Both Smith and Lawwill starred in the timeless documentary “On Any Sunday,” directed by Hall of Famer Bruce Brown.
Saturday’s AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Dave Mungenast Memorial Concours d’Elegance will feature many of the country’s most impressive original and restored classic motorcycles.
In addition, that evening at the nearby Orleans Arena, fans can catch the last round of the 2012 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Series.
