The following is from Road 2 Recovery…On Friday September 9th, Pala Mesa Golf Resort hosted the 2011 Road 2 Recovery Golf Classic. The tournament benefited Road 2 Recovery Foundation which helps motocross and supercross riders who have sustained career-ending injuries. The event included 18 teams who battled through the narrow fairways and challenging greens of the Pala Mesa Golf Course.This year’s 1st place winners were team One Industries which included: Danny Dobey, Tony Gardea, Tom McGovern, and Dereck McMahon who took home Rockwell time 50mm watches.2nd place winners were team Connexions which included Bob Walker, Matt DeLawder, Todd Brown, Matt Moss, and Ryan Graf.3rd place winners were team Deft Family including Logan Darien, Ryan Fedorow, Bob Darien, and Sean Hamblin.Thank you to all players who participated and our following sponsors for making 2011 Road 2 Recovery Golf Classic a huge success: One Industries, J Star Motors, AP Designs, Rockstar, DC Shoes, Rockwell Time, Alli Sports, Deft Family, Connexions, Lucas Oil, Troy Lee Designs, Transworld Motocross, Wasserman Media Group, and Dunlop.
