KTM Factory Ride for a Day
Press Release | April 20, 2010
If you are a pro rider currently holding your AMA pro license and feel like you haven’t been given the chance to succeed – now is your chance! KTM is currently accepting résumés for one lucky rider to win a chance to race Mike Sleeter’s KTM Factory Services/One Industries KTM 450 SX-F at the opening round of the MX Sports AMA Motocross Series at Prairie City Raceway.
The KTM 450 SX-F became available after the announcement that Mike Sleeter will race the KTM 250 SX two-stroke machine at the opening round of the series. “Since I have decided to pull out the two-stroke at the first round, I wanted to give another rider a chance to ride my 450 SX-F,” remarked Sleeter.
If chosen, the rider will get hotel and travel fees paid to the first round, a fully prepped KTM Factory Services KTM 450 SX-F, and their own mechanic for the Hangtown event. On top of that, they will be provided all the necessary equipment from the KTM Factory Services/One Industries Team sponsors including, a gear bag full of all new One Industries riding gear, Alpinestars boots, Von Zipper goggles and a One Industries helmet. Note: All team apparel must be worn by the rider at the event.
This is your chance to be a star for the day. All interested applicants can submit their resume to motocross@ktmusa.com. The deadline to enter is May 5, 2010. The winner will be announced Tuesday, May 11, 2010.
