The following is from TrueSports Inc…TrueSports, Inc., owner and operator of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, announced details of the five race weekends composing its 2010 schedule, the 49th season of racing at the Lexington, Ohio-based road course.Starting off the season at Mid-Ohio, the Daytona Prototypes and GT cars of the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series are featured from June 18-20 as a part of the EMCO Gears Classic presented by KeyBank. The weekend is supported by the production-based cars of the KONI Challenge, the Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup and the Ford Mustang Challenge.The weekend of June 25-27, the Vintage Grand Prix of Mid-Ohio returns for the 25th year with Nissan Datsun as the featured marque. Over a dozen classes of SVRA-sanctioned vintage racing are joined by off-track action such as the Concours d’Elegance car show and the British Car Showdown.The 16th annual Mid-Ohio edition of AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days is set for July 9-11, returning to its familiar date immediately preceding the superbikes of the Honda Super Cycle Weekend presented by Dunlop Tire. Motorcycle enthusiasts and riders came from all corners of the country for this weekend of classic racing and the largest motorcycle swap meet in North America.The two-wheeled rockets of AMA Pro Racing take to Mid-Ohio during the Honda Super Cycle Weekend presented by Dunlop Tire on July 16-18. All four of the series classes – American Superbike, Daytona Sportbike, Supersport and Moto-GT – will get their turn to lap the most competitive track in the U.S. as the best riders in the country line up to reach speeds of up to 185 mph. The Wiseco Superbike 100 Doubleheader is the highlight of the weekend with races on Saturday and Sunday.

The season ends with the largest motorsports weekend in the state on August 6-8 with the Acura Sports Car Challenge and the Honda Indy TM 200 presented by Westfield Insurance. Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course hosts the doubleheader highlighted by the American Le Mans Series on Saturday and the IndyCar Series wrapping up the weekend on Sunday for the fourth straight year.”We’re happy to bring the finest road racing series in America to our facility again this year.
