A couple of new faces are slated to ride this weekend’s AMA/Maxxis EnduroCross Championship Series, presented by Lucas Oil at the Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina.
Making their EnduroCross debuts will be Josh Summey of the North Carolina-based JGRMX team, and newly signed Red Bull KTM rider Mike Brown
The Florence event marks the first time that the series has traveled east of the Mississippi and into the heart of hare scrambles and woods racing country.
The injury to series favorite Red Bull KTM’s Taddy Blasuziak leaves the championship chase wide open, with Kawasaki’s Ricky Dietrich leading the way, with Damon Huffman and Destry Abbott, Lucas Oil’s young gun, Colton Haaker, in close contention.
