Stroupe Shines At GNC Final

Kawasaki Team Green Extreme’s Austin Stroupe and KTM’s 65/85cc young ace Jessy Nelson left their mark with four wins each at the 30th Annual FMF GNC International Motocross Final in Decatur, Texas, March 14-19.
Nearly 1800 riders converged at Oak Hill Motocross Park, where Stroupe emerged as the top motorcycle-class rider, winning championships in the 125cc Intermediate Stock and Modified classes, 125cc Open, and 99-250F Schoolboy (12-15) Modified classes, while Nelson led the 65cc (10-11) Stock and Modified classes, 65cc Open, and 85cc (7-11) Modified classes.
Matt Boni was one of three riders to claim Triple Crown Championships. Boni won the 250 Pro, 250 A Modified, and 125 Pro classes, and Honda’s Tyler Bowers claimed his three championships in the 250 Intermediate Modified, 250 Open, and 450F Four-Stroke Non-Pro Modified classes. Terren O’Dell starred in the 85 (14-15) Stock, 85 (14-15) Modified, and Supermini classes.
Kawasaki coveted the most overall championship with 17, Suzuki was the runner-up with an even dozen, and Honda rounded out the manufacturer podium with nine.
