2018 Sprint Hero Enduro Racing Results – The opening round of the first ever Sprint Hero Enduro Racing Series got underway at Glen Helen Raceway, January 7-8, and Zach Bell came away with the overall victory.

Bell, the recently crowned Big 6 West Coast Grand Prix Champion, was the fastest and most consistent rider over the weekend, which was comprised of a series of special tests over a six-mile course. The racing is modeled after the popular East Coast’s Full Gas Sprint Enduro Championship. The inaugural West Coast Championship will feature just three rounds (for now) and is being conducted by the same organization that runs the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS).
Bell battled Justin Jones for the overall win over the two-day event. Jones was the top rider after day one. He took full advantage of a time-consuming fall by Bell to get the day’s win, followed by Bell and Travis Coy.
Bell, however, came back on day and made no mistakes en route to the day’s win, which was good enough to give him the overall victory with about 25 seconds to spare over Jones.
Coy was again third, finishing a few minutes behind Jones.
Nick Stover was fourth overall, while Cole Shondeck rounded out the top five overall.
